Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt poses for the June issue of GQ magazine and gives his first interview since his split with wife Jennifer Aniston, talking about fatherhood, acting career and rumored romance with Angelina Jolie. The 41-year-old Troy star appears on the cover of the leading men’s magazine in a white shirt and leather pants and is featured unshaved and grimy in construction gear with a tool belt in the new GQ spread.
Inspired by Pitt's penchant for architecture and redesigning houses, fashion photographer Mario Testino decided to create a construction theme and scenes, having spent two days shooting the portfolio on the back lot of Paramount Studios.
"Mario Testino, the photographer, knew that Brad was very interested in architecture and renovating homes and he thought it would be very interesting to put him in construction gear," GQ features editor Lucy Kaylin told MSNBC.
Pitt invited her to his place to discuss his plans and dispel the rumors that have been entangling his and Jen's names for the last several months.
“The thing I don't understand is looking at this as a failure”, Brad said of his almost ex-marriage with Jennifer Aniston. “It's talked about like it failed, I guess because it wasn't flawless. Me, I embrace the messiness of life. I find it so beautiful, actually."
