The shows premiered on VH1 Sunday May 29 at 9PM and 10PM. “Kept” – the first one to go – featured Jerry Hall, the supermodel from Texas, who looks for the perfect man to be “kept” by her. Jerry acts as a Pygmalion creating the true man of her dreams by choosing from the number of contestants. The luckiest one will get the opportunity to be kept for one year enjoying the luxury life of Hall.
12 men have come to London to fight for the right to become the “kept” one. Moving from London to Paris, Jerry Hall will be using the help of her family members and friends to narrow the number of contestants from 12 to 1.
Another show is called “Strip Search” and follows “Kept”. 15 men will fight for the right to become the member of seven spots in a male revue dance troupe in Las Vegas.
The show will be hosted by Billy Cross – the creator and producer of male dance troupe “The Thunder from Down Under” – and VH1 personality Rachel Perry.
All the 15 men are gathered together in one house in LA where they train, diet, and rehearse. They will be eliminated one by one by Cross in the attempt to find the one who has so called “je ne sais quoi” that Billy thinks can wow a crowd night after night. The show is produced by VH1 in conjunction with Pilgrim Films and Television, Screen time Pty Ltd and Distraction Formats. The executive producers are Michael Hirschorn, Kim Rozenfeld,
Brandon Riegg, and Sam Korkis, Julio Kollerbohm, Mark Ganshirt, Debbie Adler
Myers.
